Pre-Primary Wings
The Pre-Primary School is the first and most important stage in a child’s educational journey. It includes four levels—Playway, Nursery, LKG (Lower Kindergarten), and UKG (Upper Kindergarten). At this age, children learn best through play, exploration, observation, and interaction. The school provides a safe, nurturing, colourful, and stimulating environment where children grow emotionally, socially, physically, and academically.
1. Playway (Playgroup)
- Playway is the foundation stage, designed for very young learners to help them adjust to the school environment.

- Building trust, confidence, and routine
- Basic motor skills through blocks, puzzles, sand play, water play, music & movement
2. Nursery
- Nursery introduces a slightly structured learning environment while keeping the approach play-based.

- Introduction to pre-literacy skills (patterns, strokes, picture reading)
- Pre-numeracy concepts (big–small, more–less, shapes, colours)
- Storytelling and rhymes to improve language
- Hands-on activities like clay moulding, craft, painting
- Social and emotional development: sharing, caring, turn-taking
- Development of fine motor skills: holding crayons, beads, paper tearing & pasting
3. LKG (Lower Kindergarten)
- LKG builds the basic academic foundation in a joyful and stress-free manner.
- Focus Areas
- Recognition of letters and their sounds
- Introduction to numbers and simple counting
- Picture reading, conversation skills, simple sentences
- Writing readiness (tracing, pattern writing, letter formation)
- Concept learning through flashcards, audiovisuals, and play activities
- Physical development through drills, games, yoga, and rhythmic movements
4. UKG (Upper Kindergarten)
- UKG prepares children for formal Grade 1 by strengthening early literacy, numeracy, and behaviour skills.
- Focus Areas
- Reading simple words and short sentences
- Writing capital & small letters, numbers, and simple words
- Basic maths concepts: addition, subtraction, patterns, sequencing
- General awareness: seasons, festivals, community helpers, good habits
- Communication and confidence-building activities
- Discipline, responsibility, and classroom behaviour
